Known Associates Events is looking for a full-time event manager to oversee the planning, design, and ex*****on of events. This in-house role is located in Perth, WA, and requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and creativity. The event manager will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and teams to ensure the seamless delivery of events that inspire connection and happiness through creative experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event coordination or management
• Proven track record of delivering successful events on time and within budget
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail in processes, systems, budgeting, and reporting
• Excellent organisational, time management, and project management skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Creative problem-solving skills to handle the unexpected, and resourcefulness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
• Proficiency in using Macs desirable
• Ability to work harmoniously in a close-knit, creative team
• Passion for live, in-person, human to human events
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated pattern of initiative and independent thought
• Collaboration with team members is your favourite way to operate but you also excel autonomously

A keynote by OAM took guests across Antarctica, deserts, and up mountains as guests were schooled on living life to the fullest, and finding a better way for our planet.

Here’s the job:
The role is full time and is made up of a rough split of 95% Graphic Design, 5% Event Management. You may be required onsite at events from time to time.
We’re flexible on the above so it’s worth a chat if you think you’re the right fit. It’s all about getting the right person for our team. Personality and cultural fit are everything at Known Associates!
Duties:
Graphic Design: (95%)
·       EDM
·       Website management, updates and improvements (Squarespace)
·       Designing merchandise and being closely involved in our brand direction
·       Creative conception
·       Creative proposals using ADOBE and Keynote
·       Publication design (company overviews, style guides, RAPs)
·       Logo design (usually event or campaign related)
·       Event related: invitation design, on-screen content, signage, menu design, merchandise, ‘what to expect’ comms, mock-ups, to-scale floor plans, photobooth templates

Event Management: (5%)
·       Occasionally assisting with executing small and large scale events and activations
·       Concept design

RACWA National Road Safety Week Activation in Forrest Place.

Located in the heart of Forrest Place in Perth's CBD, and then moving to Optus Stadium for a Dockers match, our activation supporting RACWA featured three potential scenarios demonstrating the consequences of exceeding the speed limit.

The strategically presented outcomes were designed to leave a lasting impression on patrons passing by.

A simple important message was delivered across the media on a national stage:

Thrilled to celebrate recognised for her outstanding work and commitment with an OAM today.

Narelda MC’d our 1200-seat gala ball for on Friday night which was so special for me as she also MC’d first ever 1000-seat gala dinner with the legendary Uncle Ernie in 2010 for 💫🙏🏽 The event was the brainchild of another powerhouse and well deserving OAM and Black Diamond Ball is still going strong and helping save lives today.

I’m absolutely blessed to be in the orbit of such strong, inspirational ground-breaking people through our work here at KA. The three of you inspire me everyday to speak up, do better and make a difference, whatever the challenges.

Known Associates was thrilled to orchestrate CMG's most important celebration to date - 100 years of business!

Against a stunning autumn sunset a Welcome to Country by Robyn Collard set the scene to honour Craig Mostyn Group's remarkable 100-year legacy as one of Australia’s oldest, largest, and most trusted family-owned food and agricultural businesses.

We created a night for founders, suppliers and supporters, launching a 100-year book highlighting the CMG journey, and serving up premium cuisine and entertainment at Fraser's State Reception Centre!
The evening was a stand-out event, which saw several world-class, award-winning WA chefs inspire guests with a showcase of CMG's exceptional culinary products.

Guests rolled out with full bellies, full hearts and full custom goodie bags!

The Foundation’s vision is for happy healthy children free of brain cancer; which it seeks to achieve by raising funds for research into more effective and less damaging treatments.

Across the Foundation, around 90% of funds raised are made available to this cause.

This year the BrainChild Ball’s theme is New York, New York and promises yet again to be a fabulous evening, which we are very excited to be a part of! 🗽

It’s also made in Australia from 100% post-consumer wastepaper with 10% of the profit donated to care for native wildlife and restore habitats.
