🕺🏻 LET’S TALK BOUTONNIÈRES 🕺🏻

• Traditionally, they’re worn on the left side lapel
• Usually worn by the groom, groomsmen and sometimes a few special family members
• The groom’s boutonnière may have another colour or something else a bit spesh to make it stand out from the groomsmen’s
• Store your boutonnières somewhere cool and attach to your jacket just before you leave to ensure longevity
• It’s normal for your boutonnière to be a bit worse for wear after all the hugging! Be mindful to care for it as best you can at least until after photos!

Remember, don’t feel like you HAVE to even have boutonnières if it’s not your vibe or you’d rather allocate the budget elsewhere. There’s no rules. x 🤍

3 tips for when you receive your bridal party florals ♥️🎀🌹🍒

♥️ Your bouquets will be delivered to your getting ready location on the morning of your wedding with a water source. Even though it’s tempting to take out the bouquets as soon as they arrive - due to their delicate nature I recommend leaving them safely tucked away in a cool spot until needed. 🎀

♥️ Just before you’re ready to walk down the aisle - have someone remove each bouquet and pat the stems/ribbons completely dry with a towel. (We would hate for your beautiful dresses to get wet!) 💧

♥️ Be gentle when handling your bouquets. Lighter coloured florals (especially white!) can be prone to showing marks/bruises. We want those beauties looking their best when it’s time for their close up! 📸

One way to make your wedding feel true to you and your partner is by incorporating things that light you up! 💥 For A & T this meant colourful florals, swapping the side that the bridesmaids and groomsmen stood on so the couple could see their loved ones, mismatched coloured glassware sourced from countless op shop trips and above all - FUN! 💥🍒♥️
If you’re a film camera loving couple; take a leaf out of Angela’s book and commemorate the moment by taking a picture of your lover at the end of the aisle. 📸

3 types of table arrangements we ✨love✨ for your wedding reception:

☁️ Flower Clouds - just like the name suggests, these are fluffy “clouds” of flowers almost growing from the table with no visible vase. They can be scaled up or down in size depending on the shape and size of your venues tables. Larger flower clouds look great on round tables while smaller to mid-sized clouds every 2-3 people work well on longer tables. You can also style these with bud vases in between to create a lush, full tablescape.

🍨 Compotes/ceramic bowl arrangements - the colour, material, and shape of the compotes/bowls all play a part in bringing together the overall vision. Compotes generally suit romantic, garden style florals. Low bowls suit many different styles and can be made in to fluffy and full low table arrangements or with a pin frog, be used with a few bouncy stems to create interest. Like flower clouds, these can be scaled up or down depending on the size of the table.

🍶 Bud vases - whether they’re clear glass, ceramic, colourful, brass… bud vases can be a super sweet way to add a smaller touch of florals to your tables and tie in your theme. Groupings of 2-3 bud vases with 1-3 stems of florals in each are also perfect if you’re having share plates.
