PORT PIRIE SALA WINTER FESTIVAL - COMING AUGUST 2022!

We are pleased to announce the first ever Port Pirie SALA Winter Festival, a weekend event showcasing arts, culture, music, food and entertainment will be held Friday 5th - Sunday 7th August 2022!

Supported by South Australian Living Artists Festival (SALA), Illuminart and Business Port Pirie, this exciting event will see the Port Pirie CBD come alive with a vibrant atmosphere.

The weekend’s festivities will include:
💫 The launch of the new Illuminart City Park Projection Show ‘Constellation’
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family friendly activities in Memorial Park
🎉 An evening street party in Alexander Street filled with food, music and entertainment
🎨 Sunday sessions and art workshops at various locations
🎵 And much more!

We are also calling for local and regional businesses, organisations, start-ups, stallholders, food vendors, artists, musicians and entertainers to participate in the festival.

FREE Hep C Testing Drop-in Clinic

You are at risk of Hep C if you've ever received a blood transfusion before 1990, had a home or backyard tattoo, had non-hospital cosmetic procedures, injected drugs (including steroids) even just once.

Hep C can be cured with tablets taken over 8 or 12 weeks. A special rapid testing clinic will be available in Port Pirie on 28 June 2022. It is FREE with immediate referral for treatment if needed. Results in 60 mins. Bookings preferred but not required. Provided by a SA Health nurse and Hepatitis SA.
