1993 the Internet became pervasive infrastructure in western society and we were playing live, in private rooms on CUCMe (100 people limit) - around 1996 when speeds upgraded to 256 and 512k we could do solo shows… when cable arrived the lag was limited so we could jam in real time with players around the globe.

20 years ago we developed Indie High Web Radio - Canadas first Independant web radio station hosted on Canada.com
In 2007 we created The Vanhattan Project Podcast when people called it ‘a fad’.

13 years ago We at Swamp Folk Records were hosting and performing live shows online.
Some folks are playing online during the pandemic thinking how wonderful the ‘new technology’ is, even as we’re developing programming featuring meta-humans for NFT collections.

There are creators and then there are creative developers.
Think big kids… and when those around you don’t understand you, find those who do.
I love all of my fiends but I love working with those who think, plan and create for the next three generations of tech.

That said, the song remains the same… long live the song 💕

One cancellation due to restrictions in Brizzy means I have a spot open for a music student/film student to sit in on a session where I’ll be demonstrating underscoring for film (where dialogue is present). This session is recording/mixing strings, but piano students welcome.
One spot at 6pm at Bedrock (in the Hinterland) .

Notice for reopening of Bedrock:
Our property, including the studio, stages, and filming locations is a vaxed only spot - to keep everyone as safe as we can.

Especially as our family comes to share our space on occasion and that includes our grand baby, who matters more to us than the feelings of our antivaxxed friends, no matter how much we like them.
