Just a peak at what I have created this week here on the farm. From that lovely pick on Wednesday I have created my first Casket Spray in 5 years since the Fires. It was a privilege to be asked to make this lovely spray for a very close friend for her Dads Funeral today!! 💞❤️😢Its not perfect but it was made with a lot of love.
Also this week I made Posies for some local stores and some boxes for a presentation!!
So good to be doing what we love. Thank you Farmer Kev for all your hard work of replanting and nourishing the plantation. The love of what you do truly shows !!! ❤️

Wonderful day yesterday at our Wildflowers Australia Growers day . The weather held up and we started the day with sunshine and ended it with a rainbow. Thank you to all the people that attended and travelled great distances . Your attendance was appreciated and your interest in our farm was very heart warming .

Last Monday on the 14th we set off for a road trip like no other. One that took us to the Pre Conference Tour for the 10th Australian Wildflower Australia Conference in Moama.We left home on Monday and traveled through Colac to Mt Gambier. Where we met up with 25 wonderful humans some already flower farmers and some wanting to be !!! We traveled into SA to flower farms and nurseries . Owners of these businesses welcoming us and sharing their journeys with us. From there we traveled back into Vic to the Grampians where once again we were met by the friendliest people to share their stories. This was over 2 days and many miles in between. On Thursday we attended the Conference!!!! Wow wow and wow….. the amount of effort the organisers put in was amazing. Flowers everywhere and wonderful speakers from the industry from Wholesalers to Farmers to young people thinking of joining the industry and some already doing wonderful things. So much knowledge in the one room!!! There was so much passion for flowers . Then that evening we had a Gala dinner. We heard Angus Stewart give a wonderful presentation on Australian Natives. On the next day we all gathered early in the morning and traveled on 3 buses to more Farms. The generosity of these farmers giving up their day and supplying morning and afternoon tea Thank you to you all. Thank you to everyone involved and everyone who attended for making this so memorable. Thank you to the Cool Cat tour guide/ organiser on the Pre Tour you made it so much fun . We traveled 2282 km in 7 days … feeling very tired now !!! But worth everybit of it 💐❤️

As I was in the plantation picking these beautiful Luecaspermums……. My mind drifted to the days when this was a common task in our week . This little car Terious would be filled several times a day . Three pickers and 3 processors/packers . How there were never enough hours in a day . The frantic days of sending product to the market!
Today I was grateful for what survived and me alone down there picking to send some pins and kings to the market for the first time since Dec 2019 . There isnt a lot but there is something . The welcoming voice of the Wholesaler on Friday . So much to be grateful for….. never take things for granted !!! 💐❤️😍

So much to be grateful for!!! Twenty two months after the Bushfire that destroyed the place we love.We are well on the way to our replant of our plantation. Thank you to Elle for your wonderful tender hands , your love of our farm and hard work to help Kevin gets these babies in the ground . To Kevin for your bloody hard work each and every day to complete this mammoth task. The love you have for this farm and the land is amazing . You can be so proud as I am proud of what we have achieved. Now to watch and help them grow !!!!Love where we live Love what we do !!!! ❤️❤️💐💐☀️
