So 2020-21 probably wasn't the best year to start a party business! 🤣

But like the situation we're forever adapting and evolving!!

We've decided after many suggestions and feedback to put our cutouts up for made to order!!....

Just another shout out to this family...
Not only did they sort out a construction themed cake but Mum Shantel, Dad Paul, Nanma (I hope I got that right ) Penny and Poppy Charlie all dressed in Hi-Vis and it was absolutely great to see that they dressed up too!

It looked fantastic to see when I saw them... And it an image that will stick with me!

Jack is very lucky to you have you 4....

In saying the last post....
Our balloons....

I said I'd show you them finished in January...

I guess I have no choice to show them now!! ☺️

As I've said before... Balloons are a massive environmental issue... And I don't want to be a massive player in that... So I've researched an alternative that was just as magical as them...

I've created these...
They're massively time consuming... And delicate...my initial thought was balloon garlands as pictured with the mermaids and unicorn (Lettys 4th birthday...) But I need 2 people minimum to set them up at the party .... When a friend sent me the fillable numbers I figured I could potentially (and can) carry them myself to any location (I used Paul yesterday to navigate through the backyard yesterday.. ) I created this one a couple of weeks ago... Filled with balloons ready to go.... I wouldnt be doing these now until a couple of days in just to give it the ultimate "POP" ....

I have so much feedback on these ... They're higher contrast.. I can get pretty much any shade of colour... And they're effective...

What are your thoughts?

Before I start today's posts... I want to give a massive shout out to these 3 .... Jarod, Letty (4) and Axel (2)

In October 2020 I decided to take on this venture....
I'd been told to do so for years and I finally decided to give it a shot...
It takes me months to make sure my own kids parties are how I want them...
And these parties are no different infact probably more detailed... and doing 7+ at a time in the last 9 months has been time consuming... But if I wouldn't have it for my own kids I wouldn't be putting it out for any other....

Not only does Jaz help with decorations like cutting out the cutouts and making sure everything works as intended... He built the shed and helps setting up...

Letty and Axel know what's my "work" stuff and even though I've used some of their toys try not to destroy it or even touch it....the number 4 and balloons has been in my "dining room" (there's no table just reptile/ fish tanks 🤣) and apart from one accident where Axel fell on it they haven't touched it...

I realise how tempting it all must be for them both but they've been unbelievably good with it all....

I couldn't do it with out you 3....

Yesterday was my first official party....
Jack's 4th birthday was an absolute pleasure...

We supplied decorations table cloths music and invitations as part of our basic package...

I also supplied Jack's party bags and party games, these are the timeless traditional ones with a theme twist.... Pass the parcel- pass the toolbox. Ring toss- Traffic Cone ring toss ... Find My Tools- scavenger hunt... Musical statues- red light green light...
I also sorted out party bags and custom tags ...
These are available in a package deal or an optional add on
Party bags you can choose filled, unfilled or tags only...

It was a great opportunity for me...
I got a few hiccups out before I got there and realised to check all of the products I have bought before packing it away.... (There were actually to of the yellow and black party zone bunting.... When I got there the E was turned around and then realised it said "Paty zone"... So back in the box and grab something else...
And im glad to say my over the top decorations paid off.... I didn't get them all out as a threat of strong winds would have destroyed some of them .... Yet it didn't need it....
Which I'm extremely proud of.... Means in any kind of weather I can still create a great party ambiance with out worrying that my work is going to be destroyed by rain and wind...
.. but none of that compares to Jack's face.... This 4 year old had an absolute ball and I'm so ecstatic that I got to be apart of that....

Shantel, Paul and mostly Jack thank you for trusting me creating something for Jack's 4th birthday...

You have no idea how much it means to me....

This afternoon I bit the bullet and upgraded my car...while it will help with day to day life with my forever growing kids and their stuff... Our trips away and so much more .... The main reason was to ensure I had room for parties.... Tonight while the house is quiet and all I can hear is my frogs jumping around their tank....
I decided to try and design a rear windscreen advertisement....

While I'm great at digital decorations... Thanks to many apps... This isn't one I plan on changing so I want it to be versatile... Business cards etc...

Unsure if I want all of the details laid out ... Or simplifying it is best...

Thoughts?

Managed to quickly set up some(!) Of our Construction decor today... Even with 2 kids home from school....

This is a large snippet of what will be included in our construction parties ...
I will be making vests this week and getting hard hats sorted...

And of course our reusable balloons!!

Building and creating is one of the most fun fundamentals for any kid (and adult 🙋)

And as much as roadworks are a pain to sit and wait in driving through them as my kids check out the huge and awesome machines makes it slightly worth it.... They watch what they do and ask sooo many questions and later reenact them with their blocks and toys....

Giggle & Chaos Parties not only bring, set up and collect the decorations...

I originally drew the dinosaurs on this sheet and haven't erased it.... So it's gonna be interesting to mark out again 🤣

Had such a busy week last week. So much so that the moment I could sit all I'd do was create...

Today was a big relief where that's all I can do, create while the rain hits the tin roof, and my kids are at preschool with their gumboots on....
So straight away... I designed the castle to how I wanted it and off I went......

Now what to name our kingdom to put our magical castle in?

MOLLYMOOK EARLY FOUNDATIONS GAVE US NAMES!!

Our Kid's preschool is very important to us.... They not only teach them their early fundamentals independence, and routine... They care for our kids... And our kids hopefully make great friends for the rest of their school life....

We absolutely love their preschool and when it came to naming our friends we reached out to them to name both our jungle animals and dinosaurs....

The kids gave us one name for the giraffe, elephant, snake, and lion.... 4 names for the monkey (so we drew it out of a hat!

And 2 names each for the dinosaurs.... So they now have a first name and surname each.....

Please say Hi! To our friends!!

ROAR!! Like a Dinosaur... Or... ROAR!! Like a Lion!

More Digital editing for another cutout... Changing the original font to overlap it a little....

This ROAR! will be painted in green blue and orange to match both our Dinosaur and Jungle Party...

Trying to get alot of outlines done today so I can get to cutting and painting this week....

Dinosaurs!

I've been trying to find a happy Medium between cartoon and life-like Dinosaurs....

It's the hardest to create due to they were actually real compared to Unicorns and mermaids and while I'd prefer them cute and large head and eyes cartoon for a 2 year old .... Its not exactly what I invision for a 6 year old ....

I think I finally found a happy medium....

But I couldn't choose just one!
I think my favourites have always been "long necks" after Land Before Time and the gorgeous Little Foot...... but then the plates on a stegosaurus and the 3 horned wonder of the triceratops made them favourites too.... And you can't forget the king...

So tonight I got started digitally editing different layouts that would stand out... But also be easy to cut.... And used my 4 favourites... Hopefully they're yours too because there 4 are definitely ready to party....

When theyre finished (cut and painted) I'll be holding a competition to name all of our cut outs... (mermaid unicorn and these 4)... So keep an eye out.. the names will be on the back of them and used in our advertising....

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍Colour Schemes❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍 It's amazing what having the right colour schemes can illuminate a party.... We've looked at decor we've bought and made to come up with these schemes... And these are just a few!! However we're happy to alter any scheme to suit your party, and honestly I can't wait to do a pink and purple dinosaur party with tutus and tiaras 💞 As we were sorting through a better layout for shed and office I pulled out all of the paper lanterns... And as you can see we have every colour of the rainbow ... And that's just lantern and honeycombs etc! I have a selection of ribbons, tulle, and satin to combine with them not to mention our balloons... Ill be setting up each party as soon as I can and get photos ready to show you all!! #GigglesAndChaosParties

We've had a very busy and exciting week! Been moving the office/workshop into the main bedroom as things are progressing very quickly!! Our Foil balloons have lasted over a week inflated! And nearly 300 reusable balloons have been sorted and stored in the cubes behind them! These include our letters and numbers and a variety of theme balloons including Mermaids, Pirates, Dinosaurs, Unicorns, Jungle, Princess and more! While we have our name inflated, we came up with the name after we realised that this is pretty much our life, house and kids... And a lot like me! The perfect mixture of both Giggles and Chaos! Parties are much like that, Lots of Giggles... And a bit Chaotic... Especially the designing and decorating. So Giggles and Chaos Parties seemed like the perfect name. We've nearly completed our trial run and most of the mermaid decor, lots of handmade items that I can't wait to show you! Stay tuned!! #GigglesAndChaosParties
