I FREAKIN' HATED balloons!! Yep…go figure!

When I was a little girl, my mum brought home these giant marbled balloons and my brother and I were so excited to see how beautiful and amazing they would be.
My mum, proceeded to blow them up. Her chosen method…foot pump! So off she went, pump, pump, pump and the balloon grew big, bigger, bigger, bigger and then BANG! The balloon expanded so much that it exploded and not only did it scare the crap out of me at a mere 3 years old, but what happened next is what really made me revolt against the humble balloon.
My brother (7 yo) was freaking out…a piece of the shattered balloon had embedded itself in his eye after being hurled at warp speed from the explosion of the balloon.

I mean we got it out and I assure you he was OK and to this day he can see perfectly out of his right eye. Just kidding, he and his eyes survived the whole ordeal but we will both forever live with the trauma from that event.

So who would’ve thought that now, balloons are my life and livelihood…life's funny like that huh?

Get ready for some magical balloon twisting fun at the upcoming markets!

Join us on Friday 16 February between 4.30pm to 8.30pm at the at . This is the perfect opportunity to unwind after a long week and enjoy a fun-filled evening with family and friends. Our balloon artist, Amanda, will be on hand to create all sorts of whimsical balloon designs that will leave you in awe!

If you can't make it on Friday, don't worry! You can catch us on Sunday 18 February between 8am - 12pm at at Millwell Rd Community Centre Maroochydore. Bring the kids along for a morning of fun and laughter as we twist and turn balloons into all sorts of fun shapes and sizes.

Did you guess right?!? A Playstation themed surprise 40th for Hubby. This one was a struggle of time and secrecy juggling.
