Every love story is unique. So of course out of the hundreds of ceremonies I witness, no two are ever going to be the same. Some ceremonies are very short and sweet and to the point, with others being very emotional and sentimental.

But this ceremony, delivered on point, by was so freakin funny it had everyone in hysterics! The story of Matt & Shannae and how they met, and how he tricked her into a first date had everyone cracking up right from the start. But when the microphone was handed over to their besties to ask them their ‘I do’s’ it was a whole other level of an entertaining ceremony!

Their attendees asked them to declare their I do’s with questions like;
“Matt, do you promise to not have to call Shannae when you make dinner?”,
and “Shannae, do you promise to be careful of Matt’s big nose when you hug him”?

A ceremony that was so perfectly them and full of references to their friendships and their relationship. So full of fun, and laughter and love.

Remember when planning your ceremony, don’t be afraid to do something unique and unexpected and get the crowd involved if you can. It always makes for a fantastic ceremony that sets the tone for everyone to kick into gear and celebrate your love!

When a Brazilian marries a French woman, hearts are set on fire!!❤️‍🔥

Yesterday with these two was all the laughs, all the tears and all the passion you could possibly fit into one intimate wedding day with their loved ones. 9 years together, an elopement during COVID, a beautiful baby daughter and finally the celebration to do it the way they wanted with their families and friends reunited.

After weeks of rescheduling due to the crazy weather we have been having here in Qld, we decided to maybe leave this session until winter!

Then we saw a forecast for clear skies and decided it was time to just go for it.
So here is the beautiful Moreau family enjoying their time together on a cloudy, drizzly day. Haha

You can’t control the weather but you can decide to get out amongst it and create some beautiful memories to cherish forever. Either way, we are gonna make the most of it and have some fun!

Who felt like their wedding day was so busy it feels like a blur?

So often I observe wedding days that are so tightly scheduled and jam packed that there’s no time to breathe, no time to take in the people and events that are taking place around you. It’s a series of happenings that tightly follow one another right up until the dance floor, that I wonder if when then day is done, couples are left scratching their heads thinking…what just happened??

Well I’m here to tell you this doesn’t need to be the case, and it shouldn’t be, if you truly want to embrace the day as it unfolds.
