These look great! I know they will sound great. We used Acoustic Technologies gear last night to provide audio for Michelle Martinez (The Voice) and thought it sounded amazing and with only 5 minute sound check. Of course a beautiful voice and good musicians goes a long way to making life easy for an audio engineer but that said our AT subs and three way top boxes, along with our recently acquired SCX24A powered wedges made for a satisfying experience for all involved.

I just received this endorsement from Jeff Cripps (A # Sharp Recording Studios):

“Tony Jex provided sound at the Guilford Bowling Club the other night, where a mate of mine was having his 60th and had his band Playing . I actually run a Recording Studio and as you might imagine, I’m a bit critical about sound and it seems like every gig I go to, I’m pulling my hair out because almost always the bass drum is too loud, the vocals too soft and the sound guy doesn't seem to understand that if you use a compressor wisely, the bar staff won’t complain about the noise and you can get a punchy sound from the Band. Also, invariably when someone is talking, the sound is muddy and you can’t understand them..!!!

Anyway, amazingly enough Tony had ALL this stuff covered, the Band sounded GREAT- clear, punchy, nicely loud, but not too loud for the bar staff cause everything was in it’s place (nicely compressed), nothing jumped out, it was what every bloody gig is suppose to be like... congrats Tony, I had a great time and my wife was delighted not to have a whinging husband complain about the sound for 1/2 Hr on the way home in the car.. at least SOMEONE in Sydney can pull a GREAT mix.

We would like to announce that Tony Jex, Director of Oz Management, has resigned from the Juvenile Arthritis Fundraiser Committee.

Tony says "In May 2013 I announced that after a 6 year association with the Juvenile Arthritis Fundraiser I have decided, through necessity, to resign from a committee which I have been most proud to have been a part of.

Thank you to my fellow members for their friendship, professionalism and passion in raising funds which are needed for very worthy and essential research.
To all the industry suppliers and sponsors who have helped the committee raise overwhelming financial contributions to support initiatives such as the research laboratory at UNSW (The University of New South Wales) I cannot say how proud I am to have worked with you during my tenure.

I am also most proud of George Kranitis who is the young man that is the main motivation for my involvement in these fund raising efforts. George is a super kid and beautiful person who deserves some breaks that can only come from medical advancements which as we all know never come cheap."

It was fantastic to see playing with his dad on TV this week!

Jackie is a talented and though he is blazing a career path of his own its nice to see him getting back in the saddle with the rest of “the family”.

Here is an old picture that someone has passed on to me taken on a day that Jimmie was donating his time to raise funds and I was involved with helping Jackie with his drumming. Great work mate!
