It’s been a draining trip but we are about to fly out of Christchurch at the crack of dawn after a whirlwind few days.

We would like to thank all those that helped us out on this trip, gave us advice for October but most importantly, we can’t express our gratitude for those who took time to show us their favourite gear, let us admire and use them on the range at The Arena LTD.

We have gotten all the information we needed from this trip and even some amazing ideas for props and game mechanics for our Trans Tasman Airsoft Festival in October!

We can’t wait to return in October but hopefully we will make it back earlier than that!

We are heading over for an extended weekend to meet with vendors, inspect the field, catch up with old friends but most importantly, play some airsoft over at The Arena LTD!

OP: Cold Border is the main event of the Trans Tasman Airsoft Festival and will immerse you as players into a 48hour, controlled supply chain event in which the players will drive the storyline.

OP: Cold border takes place on the fictional continent of Istana and the disputed border between the Republic of Beras and the Kingdom of Marco Zampine. Stuck in the middle of the disputed territory is the township of South Rialpura which is the focus of both countries due to its newly discovered unique natural and renewable energy resource.

With teams consisting of Australian, New Zealand and International Players, which team will you pick?

Funnelweb Milsim is proud to announce and present the Trans Tasman Airsoft Festival!

The Trans Tasman Airsoft Festival is a 6 day Airsoft Festival being held in Christchurch, NZ and encompasses a series of daily events and activities leading up to a large 48 hour event. As part of the event, you will be able to experience a large portion of what Airsoft can offer.

We will be announcing further details over the next few weeks with registration opening in early March.

Welcome to Funnelweb Milsim! We are a group of 3 mates looking to reinvigorate the Australian Airsoft travelling community by organising and running Airsoft trips and events in New Zealand!

These events are by the Australian players, for the players with the intention of growing the sport and travelling Australian scene to new heights whilst the fight for Airsoft in Australia continues.

Whilst we are focusing on the Australian Airsoft scene, we are all for providing an inclusive environment for all. We also want to be involving and playing with New Zealand club, players and associations whilst strengthening the trans-Tasman relationship. Without them, we wouldn’t even have a community or fields to play on in the first place!

At the end of the day, we are a group of mates running a business, we intend on reinvesting all profits into the business and future events.
