Against the vibrant backdrop of the harbour and Vivid Sydney lights, Danielle’s exclusive menu is a culinary ode to the best NSW ingredients, with perfectly paired wines by leading sommelier, Louella Mathews.

The night is further enriched by an intimate musical performance by Katie Noonan.

The Harbour Restaurant opens today!

Celebrating the history of what once was, The Harbour is an ode to the original fish and chip eatery that occupied the northern boardwalk from 1973 to 2001, with a seafood menu that features all the classics from takeaway fish and chips to dine-in seafood baskets.

This past Friday, we hosted An Evening with Danielle Alvarez and Libby Travers to celebrate the launch of their new book ‘Recipes for a Lifetime of Beautiful Cooking’.

Our Yallamundi Rooms were transformed for the cocktail-style affair which offered an intimate encounter with the authors themselves through a Q&A led by Joanna Salville.

Danielle’s menus draw inspiration from a rich culinary heritage spanning the US and Australia. Raised in a food-loving Cuban American family, she honed her skills under her mother and grandmother’s guidance before embarking on a professional culinary journey.

Tonight, she launches her ‘Recipes for a Lifetime of Beautiful Cooking’ book alongside co-author Libby Travers with a cocktail style affair at the Yallamundi Rooms.
