-- SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT via Catherine Alcorn -- WORLDWIDE STREAMING EVENT

Sydney is in lockdown once again, and our instrusty finds itself decimated once more. This time without JobKeeper or Jobseeker, so it seems we must take take matters into our own fabulous hands.

After Catherine's ABC News piece on Sydney's Arts and Entertainment industry last week, Melbourne Digital Concert Hall and Kawai Australiai approached her to perform a live-stream show from The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood. She said yes.

In 2020, the MDCH raised over $1.2 million dollars for Victorian artists across their near 300 live stream shows. Let's do the same for our mob.

Finding a photo of our illustrious director for our Saturday Live Music and Cabaret shows, Sean Vandenberg (/) for his birthday has proven very tricky, as he is always buzzing around, working behind the scenes and never standing still enough to pose for a shot! HOWEVER! Thanks to and .rubie we managed to find a couple where the back of his head is at least featured! Happy birthday mate! Your work at The Reservoir Room has been absolutely stellar and we have loved having you! What a star! ⭐️

We want to give a shout out to Support Act who were a big supporter of here at The Res Room. We all know that times are tough in the music industry. Many of us were the first to lose our jobs and our income, and our sector could well be the last to recover. Jobkeeper and Jobseeker are keeping many of us alive, but in some cases it is still not enough. If you need help to pay the rent/mortgage, or your electricity, car rego, medical expenses or kids school fees, you can apply for a Crisis Relief Grant from Support Act. These are not arts grants and they are not competitive. If you meet the criteria, they will pay agreed bills on your behalf.
