Thank you to everyone who donated to me and to those who joined my International fundraising team 'MovingforMS' in Australia and the UK! We smashed over 650km of walking, running and dancing together! All to raise money for important medical research to find better treatments and a cure for MS🤞

My contribution goal for next year is to raise more money than this year, creating a bigger team than last year with some community activities to get us walking and dancing towards that KM goal - If you are interested in joining my team next year send me a message 😀

MS is the most common acquired chronic neurological disease affecting young adults including myself, often diagnosed between the ages of 20 to 40 and, in Australia, affects three times more women than men. As yet, there is no cure. There is no known single cause of MS, but many genetic and environmental factors have been shown to contribute to its development. In MS, the body’s own immune system mistakenly attacks and damages the fatty material – called myelin – around the nerves. This results in a range of symptoms, but no two people experience MS in the same way.
