Our collection of props is one of the largest in Australia and contains thousands of unique items. If we don't have what you are after, we can get it for you or make it. We custom build special items, mass produce multiple items, design and construct set pieces, vigne

ttes, scenic art, objets d'art or anything else you require for whatever purpose. Our facility at Marrickville also offers 8 multi-purpose film studios that can be hired around the clock. Coupled with direct access to our props, prop making, styling and staging services - the combination of studios, styling and props offers many, on the spot, creative advantages. If you are planning a themed event, conference or stylised shoot, our dedicated team, directed by stylist Claire-lena Miller, will work with you, interpret your ideas and develop them into an amazing environment for the enjoyment of your guests, to facilitate training or to get that on-camera look you are after.

Exciting Leadership Change at Sydney Props Group

Sydney, Australia - August 9, 2024

Sydney Props Group is thrilled to announce a dynamic leadership transition that promises to drive the company into its next era of growth and innovation. Craig Watson, who has played a key role in shaping the company’s success as General Manager, is now stepping into a new challenge as the General Manager of Sydney Props Photo Studios.

Taking the helm as the new General Manager of Sydney Props Group is Renato Fabbro, a seasoned leader with a fresh perspective and a proven track record in large-scale operations. Fabbro's expertise and passion for client satisfaction make him the perfect fit to lead Sydney Props Group into its exciting future.

Craig Watson has been instrumental in expanding Sydney Props Group’s offerings, establishing it as a powerhouse in the props and production services industry. In his new role, Watson will continue to drive innovation and excellence, this time focusing on elevating the Sydney Props Photo Studios to new heights.

“I’m excited to embrace this new challenge and continue contributing to the success of Sydney Props Group from a different angle,” said Craig Watson. “Renato brings a wealth of experience and shares our vision for the future. I’m confident he’ll take the company to even greater heights.”

Renato Fabbro shared his enthusiasm for the road ahead, stating, “It’s an honour to step into the role of General Manager at Sydney Props Group. Craig has set a high bar, and I’m eager to build on his legacy, driving further success and innovation for our clients and team.”

Previously, Renato served as Event Logistics and Operations Manager for Amway for 20 years, where he was responsible for creating, designing, and delivering international incentive programs for diverse audiences ranging from 50 to 10,000 attendees all over the world. He also drove business strategy for local events, including multi-city roadshows, meetings, marketing expos, activations, and celebrations.

This leadership transition marks an exciting new chapter for Sydney Props Group, setting the stage for continued growth and an ever-expanding range of services to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

Q1.) How long have you worked at SPS for?

A.) 10 years!

Q2.) What's your favourite thing about working at SPS or in your role?

A.) Working with different clients and different themes every day. The most satisfying thing is seeing a client walk into a themed room and they are speechless.

Q3.) What's a challenge or project you have worked on at SPS that you're proud of or have fond memories of?

A.) Creating an expo for authors of fantasy books. Designing 2 halls of ICC with amazing props and 300 author book signing booths.

Q4.) Outside of your role at SPS, What's an interesting fact about yourself people may not know?

A.) Im from a small country town.

We're so grateful to have Andrew on the team here at SPS, he's the driving force behind many of our projects and his positive impact for our clients is admirable.
