She first made costumes for a play at the age of twelve. It was an historical drama about Anne Boleyn written by a friend and staged in the back yard! More recently she has been involved in two amateur theatre groups, in Nowra on the South Coast, acting and involved in costumes. She moved to Sydney in early 2015 in order to study. She has taught basic sewing, smocking and candlewicking. Her studies to date include Costume Essentials at NIDA, Procion Fabric Dying, Digital Drawing and Textile Design at Jets, Digital and Screen Printing and Fashion Design and Technology (1st Year so far) at Ultimo TAFE.
