A dream come true! In life you can never stop learning. I had the privilege to attend florist retreat last week and it was amazing 🙌 Leah is an outstanding florist, business woman and educator 💗 surrounded by an awesome team and together they are a machine!!!! 💪 Thanks also to for the photography tips 🙏 I met some beautiful people and fellow florists, I think we did a pretty good job on our ceremony pieces! I’m looking forward to creating some beautiful pieces for my future weddings 💖

OMG!!! I’m still in shock at this announcement made tonight! I can’t thank my newlyweds enough for voting for my business. I feel so blessed and I absolutely love working with my brides and grooms in helping to meet their floral needs for their special day 🌻 A lot of hard work goes behind the scenes to create floral magic for a wedding so it’s nice to be recognised for that hard work. Update!
The Flower Shack is back to doing weddings, events and corporate this year and therefore won’t be doing a Mother’s Day collection.
Thank you to my valuable customers for your continued support especially during these difficult last 2 years.
This certainly does not close the door for the possibility of doing special days like this in the future.
We still continue to create unique custom made preserved arrangements which make perfect gifts, preorders only.

I admit that I’m not the best when it comes to keeping up with social media!

I love working with fresh however I have grown a new passion working with preserved. They have become extremely popular particularly when covid hit and the fresh flower supply was low.

Day 10 🌹 I hope your Valentine’s roses are still looking as good as mine! The key to rose longevity, apart from buying a good quality product from your local florist, is:
Clean vase
Fresh water every 2-3 days
Trim stems on an angle when changing water.
