10 x 24 in all her glory!
Feels like a lifetime ago having to work out the exact square meters to people, making sure the marquee had no walls. crossing fingers that another lock down wouldn't happen between the deposit being paid and the marquee being built.
2020 and 2021 were some tough years.

An absolute roller-coaster of a year with an estimated 115 Marquee Jobs (not including jobs with multiples or jobs without Marquees!)
Additional 10x12 purchased.
One family wedding
A few changed jobs because of the weather
And all with an amazing crew of 4.
Also while doing toilet deliveries and pick ups and all the other non Marquee jobs in between!
2023 was a year for actually catching up post pandemic.
2024 is a year for growth and exciting new challenges!

As always we love being able to help the team from Vison with the Biggest Morning Tea in Woopi.
An amazing event every year!

Thanks to everyone who attended our Biggest Morning Tea on Friday, May 19th and donated at the event while enjoying morning tea, and to those who couldn't make it and donated online. We want to say a big thank you, as with all this help together we raised $1,166 to go towards cancer research! Your donations will help fund support services for the 150,000 Australians who are diagnosed with cancer every year

Another thanks to those who helped make the day all come together: Handi-Hire Woolgoolga, who donated tables and chairs for the event, and Ash at Ashs Sugar-Shack for her amazing cancer ribbon cookies!

Yesterday Ziggy had his last shift at Handi-Hire.
Employee of the month every month for 16years.
For people who remember orginal Handi-Hire they will remember a young pup who would round up the eftpos machine, a pup who would force you to throw the ball when filling gas and go for little walks upto arc attack for smoko.
More recently Ziggy was a bit better known for his sleeping and being the welcoming committee at the door for customers - if he could be bothered to get up that is. Or being ushered ever so gently from the road by one of us.

He even managed to sneak in one last day onsite for Jac and Joels wedding in March.
Ziggy lived a full and very happy life!
Handi-Hire won't be the same without him! 💔

We are seeking a new event laborer who can multitask through all aspects of our business. Tasks include, warehouse duties, deliveries and pickups, marquee/event installs and cleaning.
The ideal applicant must be able to work as part of a team or unsupervised. Must be reliable and work in a timely manner, have good communication skills and attention to detail.
The position would suit someone wanting 25 – 30 hours per week at above award wages with the opportunity for a permanent position.
We work Monday to Friday and the odd weekend.

Handi-Hire / Dump’n’Pump Woolgoolga has a position available for a bright and capable person looking for a varied position with a view to traineeship after qualifying period. The position is casual to start, minimum guaranteed hours of 18 hours per week (8.30am to 3 pm - 3 days per week). Days are negotiable. This position would ideally suit a school leaver or someone looking to re-enter the workforce.

We are a family owned company that is growing and the position will grow with it for the right person.

No experience necessary but you will need:
Some computer skills, good communication skills, common sense, "can-do" attitude, reliability, ability to follow directions, take initiative, be part of a team, flexible and a cheerful disposition.

We will give you:

A great environment to learn new skills mainly based in an administration environment (office/clerical) but you will be required to help with manual tasks including washing up (dishwasher) and helping to clean party hire equipment when required.

*Drivers License not essential, but an advantage.
