As we live in very uncertain and changeable times, many couples are choosing to have a small and intimate marriage ceremony followed up by a family and friends gathering and celebration as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Check this out! What a novel idea. Bride wanted cheese rounds instead of the normal wedding cake. They were able to then enjoy their cheese and fruit platters by the river.Nice work Robin Croft!

The Challenges of Wedding Ceremony Venues

CEREMONY LOCATION CHALLENGES: Celebrant and Groom arriving early at Ceremonial Venue pays off! I generally arrive a minimum of 45 mins before ceremony start time and ask the groom to be there half an hour before for a number of reasons. I am always glad that I do this. Near a beach is always a beautiful but noisy location and thats ok we have professional PA systems to deal with this but on this occasion the wind level was so high that the flapping of the Bali flags added to the noise level. The wedding decorator decided that it would not be safe to continue erecting the Bamboo pole archway. When the groom arrived he was able to see that the level of wind experienced on the platform would be most uncomfortable, possibly dangerous for the all important ceremony and 40 to 50 guests. A decision was made to move the ceremony a few metres away on a grassed area where there was minimal wind felt. I only just had time to flag down the wedding decorator and ask that the archway be erected in the new location as it was obviously important to the bride. The groom still had time to greet his guests before the beautiful bride, her father and attendants arrived.
