Headlining Stony Creek Music Festival 2023 "Remembering Tom Petty"

A Celebration of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers is set to be yes, a celebration of all things Petty, performed by some true fans and incredible musicians. Josh Owen, Dan Lethbridge, Rick Plant, Ben Wiesner and Jethro Pickett have played with the likes of James Reyne, Buddy Miller, Missy Higgins, Glenn Richards, The Audreys and more. Together they will back some of Melbourne's finest in Nick Barker, Rebecca Barnard, Charles Jenkins, Rob Craw (Huxton Creepers) and Sal Kimber.

Returning to Stony Creek Music Festival are westside locals Deadnecks. Using the music of The Grateful Dead as a vehicle for their explorative jams rooted in psychedelic rock, blues, country and jazz. Deadnecks have made a name in the scene for their explosive and energetic live performances.
The group recently featured as the backing band for US singer songwriter M.Ward on his Australian tour earlier this year and are set to make some notable appearances at larger festivals throughout the year.

The Silversound comprised of Shane O’Mara, Andrew Tanner, Stu Thomas and Leroy Cope. Between them, they have been involved with the icons of the Australian music scene; from Paul Kelly to Rebecca’s Empire, Kim Salmon to Dave Graney, Tim Rogers to Lisa Miller, toured the world and recorded a plethora of albums over the last three decades.

The Receivers are a band of young teens from Melbourne’s inner north, each playing multiple instruments, formed out of a shared love of The Pixies, The Breeders, The Clash and Bikini Kill.
