Community Centre & Event Manager

Orchid Community Centre in Mirpur is in search for an enthusiastic person to manage the centre. The position requires extensive customer negotiation and customer service skills. The candidate is expected to have 2-3 years of managerial experience in the field of community centre/restaurant/ event management/wedding planner. Experience may be considered in case of exceptionally competent candidates.

Job Responsibilities
* Face to face customer interaction to take booking for the centre as well as floral decoration and catering.
* To manage the Centre and its staff in accordance with the parameters of and under the direction set by top management.
* To develop services and facilities in accordance with the aims of the centre.
* To develop close working relationships with the vendors.
* To develop the services and facilities of the Centre in an entrepreneurial manner.
* To liaise with all staff and users to ensure the smooth running of the Centre and its activities.
* To ensure, in conjunction with the caretaker, that the building is suitably maintained through the day to day repairs, maintenance programs and external service contracts.
* To be responsible for health and safety in the building.
