Story of Dala Legacy
Let’s take a look at the history of exchanging gifts between the bride & groom’s family. It’s a royal tradition & started some centuries ago.
A king would send a royal ambassador to the courts of the neighboring kingdoms to announce that he would give his daughter’s hand in marriage to the prince who would bring her the most precious gift. The candidates from other kingdoms used to bring decorated baskets containing precious gifts to win the beautiful princess’s heart. It was considered as a gesture of admiration for the king & princess. Even sometimes The King or Prince used to send a marriage proposal to the other kingdom’s princess or queen in the same way.
We have lost the era of King and queens and that type of announcement but in every wedding Bride and grooms are treated like Princess & prince. And we still continue the legacy of Dala exchanging. Even, it becomes an integral part of modern wedding tradition. ‘Dala Legacy’ aims to carry on this tradition while blending the trend meaningfully.
