Back in 2018/2019… just before Tropiz Instituut, Samseveria, Prins Herrie & Mr Crumbone had a night at Cafee ca**on where they dropped their monthly Global Grooves parties… Calacas & Lom Bom Bashi were along their guests and slowly the idea grew to organise one big tropical fiesta together… This mix was a promo-mix for those parties…

Calacas presenteert een fijne avond in Mechelen...

Op donderdag 3 augustus neemt Calacas de avond over. Ze presenteren Gnawa Black Koyo. De groep is tien jaar geleden ontstaan in Brussel en samengesteld uit muzikanten, zangers en dansers afkomstig uit Tanger, Fez en Casablanca. Laat je een avond onderdompelen in een stukje wereldmuziek. 🥰

Zeer jammer om te horen dat Onder Stroom de plaats waar onze eerste Tropiz Instituut plaatsvond, de handdoek in de ring gooit door de regelneverij van Stad Antwerpen (shame on u!!!)

Bedankt om toch 4 jaar een fijne plek te zijn geweest vol fijne initiatieven...

En voor dat afscheidsfeest: "Make it slow..." (zoals ROB het ooit honderden keren over jullie fijne binnenkoer schreeuwde!!!) zodat het extra lang moge duren...
