👶 Né au début des années 90 aux États Unis, Laprade (alias Timothée Brès) est un DJ français à l’initiative de Lowtape, premier collectif bruxellois à revisiter dès 2015 le son “rave” et la scène belge du début des années 90.

🚅 Après un voyage à Berlin en 2010, son univers musical bascule. Il achète son premier disque chez Doctor Vinyl (Ricardo Villalobos sur Perlon) et multiplie les allers-retours à Londres pour profiter de la scène minimale foisonnante.

🎉 En 2013, il commence à aider à l’organisation des soirées Down Under, les premières en Belgique à inviter des DJs emblématiques tels que Nicolas Lutz ou Francesco Del Garda.

📀 Après la sortie de son premier podcast sur le label londonien Sharingtones Records et une soirée d’anniversaire mémorable dans un bar à Flagey, il lance avec des amis les soirées Lowtape à l’Epicerie Moderne à l’été 2015.

💣 Via ses podcasts et soirées, Lowtape veut mettre en valeur la scène locale. Que ce soit les pionniers des années 90 comme L-Reak et Popane (BWP) ou la jeune génération comme Hicham, qui sera résident de 2017 à 2018.

🎆 En tant que DJ, Laprade explore tous les styles, sans limites ni frontières. Il a joué notamment au Fuse (Lessizmore), Bruxelles Jardin, K-Nal (Fuse x C12), La Vallée (Lowtape x Basic Moves), à la Gay Haze et se prépare déjà pour ce nouveau b2b avec Mike DMA !
