🌸 Gisterenmiddag gingen we met enkele collega’s op bedrijfsbezoek bij Floramedia Studio.

📸 Bijzonder interessant om te zien hoe de fotolabels voor onze planten van grondstof tot afgewerkt product de plant nog meer laten schitteren!

Bedankt Floramedia voor de bijzonder warme ontvangst en de fijne namiddag! 🤩

👉We brachten ook een bezoekje aan De Paauw Molen! Deze werd vroeger gebruikt als oliemolen, later werd besloten De Paauw te herbouwen als hennepklopper.

Daarna sloten we de dag af met een gezellig teametentje 🫶🏼

De Agapanthus 'Black Jack' kwam als winnaar uit de bus op de RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show! 🌺✨ Zijn fluweelzachte, dieppaarse bloemen stalen de show met de gouden medaille als resultaat!

We zijn bijzonder fier als kweker om dit bloemenmeesterwerk in productie te hebben! 💜🌸

Tip van de dag! 👍

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 🌱

NL // De beste tijd om een Rhododendron aan te planten is in de herfst, maar zolang het niet vriest of het midden in de zomer snikheet is, kan je de Rhodo eigenlijk altijd planten 🍁

💡Wist je trouwens dat aanplanten in het najaar zorgt voor een groeivoorsprong in de lente? De grond is in de herfst nog vrij warm en vochtig, waardoor de plantenwortels zich extra kunnen ontwikkelen. Daardoor kan de Rhododendron in de lente vroeger starten met groeien en bloeien 🌸

EN // The best time to plant a Rhododendron is in the fall, but as long as it's not freezing or scorching hot in the middle of summer, you can actually plant the Rhodo anytime.

💡 By the way, did you know that planting in the fall gives the plants a head start in the spring? In autumn, the soil is still quite warm and moist, so that the plant roots can develop extra. This allows the Rhododendron to start growing and blooming earlier in the spring 🌸
