Grand Larsony—a.k.a. Gypsy, Steve, Brooklyn and Isaac Larson—want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the “jamily”— musicians, bands, friends and patrons, members of Calgary Jam Scene, and the venue owners that supported live music—you know who you are—for making Friday Open Mic Night memories with us over the past 12 years! We appreciate you all!

Friday, March 31st, y’all packed the house with a whole lotta talent and great energy, and everyone brought their A-game from 6:30PM, straight through till 2:30AM!! ‘Twas an 8-hour jam-a-thon! 😂 🎸 🥁 🎤 🎶

Lastly, we have made many friends and had an amazing time! What’s been most rewarding is the inclusive and loving vibe everyone brought while we all got to forget about our crazy lives for a while and just be the best versions of ourselves, socially and musically. Stay genuine, be good to each other, and most of all, keep the jam tribe thriving! We’ll see you at a jam around town some time. LOVE YOU ALL! 💜

Four days until we are done hosting! It’s been an amazing 12 years and we appreciate every single one of you! I hope I am able to hug you all this Friday to show our appreciation! ❤️

Hey Everyone!

After 12 years of hosting in the amazing Calgary Jam scene, Grand Larsony is retiring and moving on to another adventure. We are truly grateful to every single musician/person that has ever come out and supported us in anyway! Without all of you we would not be the hosts we are today!

Our very last open mic/retirement will be on March 31st at Bonasera’s,
1204 Edmonton Trail NE.
