Juno- and Polaris Prize-nominated Begonia has built a legion of fans online and at her legendary live shows. Her sophomore album, Powder Blue emerged in early 2023 and confronts themes of sexuality, self-discovery, acceptance and empowerment, and was shortlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize. She has been playing sold-out clubs and theatres in North America, and recently supported indie-all-star, Leith Ross, on their European tour.

Begonia’s upcoming EP, Open Swim, will be released July 17, 2024, via Birthday Cake Records and is a project that “encompasses the feeling of working through conflict and the elation that can surface when you’re honest with others and ultimately yourself.” Dive into the deep end with us on September 20 & 21.

Join us on November 11th, 2023 as Whitecap Entertainment presents, Dan Mangan, Going Somewhere Tour 2023. With special guest Aysanabee at PEI Brewing Company.

Dan Mangan is a two-time JUNO award winning & two-time Polaris Music Prize listed musician and songwriter. He has toured around the globe, played Jimmy Kimmel Live, collaborated with Dave Grohl and scored acclaimed soundtracks for Netflix, AMC, CBC and feature film. He is also a co-founder of Side Door, a community marketplace platform for the arts where any space is a venue. Mangan’s 6th studio LP “Being Somewhere” unfurls like a tender overdue conversation with a dear friend. The album took nearly three years to record as a long-distance collaboration with producer Drew Brown (Radiohead, Beck) and may just be his finest work yet.
