Waupoos Island Camp rents as an entire complex and is available from May long weekend to Thanksgiving weekend. We are a private, back-to-nature space for your gathering or event. There are seven 3-bedroom cottages, 1000 ft of shoreline and an open concept church building for gathering! Camp rentals also include private use of the entire 13+ acre property and waterfront amenities.

Should you choose to leave the island, there are many wonderful things to see and do in the Waupoos area and southern .
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
, , , , and are all within a 10 minute drive of the Waupoos Marina, OR ask us how you can rent some bikes on the mainland!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are getting groceries, you will have to travel about 15 minutes by car to Picton which has 3 grocery stores (Metro, Foodland’s and No Frills).

Did you know the island is home to many sheep.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
is a second generation farm in Prince Edward County. The sheep are born and raised on pasture on Waupoos Island. If you want to see the sheep grazing during your visit make sure you visit us during the spring and summer months. as they travel to the mainland of PEC for fall and winter.

The Blueberry Patch Waupoos is open July to Sept and located right before your hop onto the boat to go across to the island.

Featuring lots of storage, electric ranges, and full-size fridges, these spaces are perfect for preparing delicious meals during your stay. You'll find everything you need, from dishes and cutlery to basic bakeware and small appliances like a toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle.

What to Pack: Imagine a luxurious camping experience—bring your essentials, favorite bath and body items, and don't forget the smores! Pack some board games and outdoor activities for added fun.

Getting to the Island: Set your GPS for Waupoos Island Marina (65 County Rd 38, Picton, ON K0K 2T0), and we'll be ready to meet you at the dock slip with our boat!

Arriving at the Island: Once you arrive, everything gets unloaded, and the choice is yours to pick a cottage and settle in for a memorable stay.

Getting Back to the Mainland: Have a specific time in mind or need to head back to the mainland? Just ask for our boat schedule, running in peak months. If you have a unique time, pre-book your run back—planning is key for smooth sailing!

The fish were jumping and splashing this morning! So fun! It’s completely wasted on me (not a fisher) but I do enjoy watching them swim around under the dock :) . . . #getoutside #waupoosisland

Wondering what the beach/shoreline looks like at the camp this season? The lake bottom is sandy, which is normal every year and. Is what keeps the water crystal clear all summer, but we do recommend water shoes because the little rocks are abundant!
