Been awhile since I introduced myself on here, and we have a few new followers from my new city !

I’m Lauren! Mom of 3, and a dog mom to 1.
I’ve been a photographer for 14 years and just recently moved here! My whole family is from here. My grandpa immigrated here from India when he was 16 and built a life right here in Kamloops. I am very happy to be home and to provide my kids with amazing opportunities here.
Both my boys play hockey - so you can typically find me at a hockey arena if im not working. Or going to Sephora and happy hour with my daughter!

Why Lauren Raylene Photography

This all started when I was 15 years old with a disposable film camera.

I decided that I wanted to be a photographer, and so I grabbed my two friends and posed them at our local beach. From 15-18 years old, I continued taking photographs but I had graduated early, and needed a “real” job. It wasn’t until about 2010, when our first daughter was born, that I had fully grasped the concept of making photography my CAREER.

After becoming A family myself, I had realized that I wanted to capture life’s real moments for families to cherish time after time. I have taken workshops both in person and online, newborn safety courses, and honestly just networked with other photographers to gain such knowledge to turn this into a career for myself.

My family and I have lived in Claresholm for close to 6 years, and we absolutely love it here. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of my husband and our 3 kids, and they are why I do this.
