Today I am celebrating the most magical journey of love, laughter, a beautiful blended family, leaning in when times are hard, growth and acceptance. 9 years married, 12.5 together I often tell my clients - create your magical day your way. There is no set rules for how it looks and feels other than what is right for you both. I could not have dreamed a more beautiful day than what our wedding day was. From āour family treeā, wheelchair jousting, sword fights, our hand fasting ceremony and breaking bread with our family and friends, not a detail was overlooked and not a moment goes by that we donāt reminisce about the beautify of a love shared, a magical journey that keeps expanding. 40 and Fabulous. Island lifeā¦ā¦it is a wonder. Hidden gems and little nooks on beautiful little beaches. We find the most amazing places to set up our luxury picnics, often with the help of the hosts. This gem of a spot sits just north of Nanaimo and was pure perfection for these 6 ladies to celebrate their friends 40th lap around the sun. Complete with our signature Artisanal Charcuterie, a vegetarian board along with veggies and house made hummusā¦..it was a feast for all the senses.

Do your wedding your way! My dream was to wear a cloak with a hood. My husband found my dress in a beautiful shop in Quebec City and bought it, knowing I would love it. Untraditional maybe but it was perfect and our whole wedding took shape from our clothing choices. We collected moss, beach rocks, hundreds of driftwood pieces for the tablescapes.We made banners, bunting and flagsWe constructed shields, swords, stocks, 8ā long jousting lances.What you dream your wedding day will be really can come true. We absolutely loved being tasked with developing the concept and decor, along with a gourmet charcuterie for 338 people.

What inspires me?
My travels have taken me to over 18 countries in this world. As a long haul backpacker, I spend at least a month in each country exploring the culture, diversity and beauty that each offers.
Morocco and Turkey stole pieces of my heart, the incredible gifts shared forever changed me. From including me in family feasts, experiencing the traditional hammams (bath house) to being guided on safe travel and what to eat. As a female travelling solo, these generous offerings have not been forgotten years later.
To travel by camel to a Bedouin village in the Sahara dessert, to float above the mystic rock formations in Cappadocia, Turkey. To get lost within the myriad of alleys in a souk (market) is both exhilarating and terrifying. The Medina is a magical space where time slips by and moments stand still.
Little pieces of my travels are in each set up. From how it feels to the little hidden treasures, magic awaits for all to experience.
