It is with some sadness and some relief that I bid farewell as we shut The Secret Kitchen down permanently. It was not a decision I have taken lightly and has been a long time coming.

Over the last 5 years I have been through a lot. My son’s cancer diagnosis (twice) and subsequent stem cell transplant, navigating Covid, and finally the dissolution of my marriage. I’ve had to be strong for a really long time. It’s been a lot. I’m tired. I need a break.

Should you want to say hi I will be down at the Devon golf course. Pop in. And yes, I will still make the odd cake for a few of you. You should know who you are.

This community has always been amazing. Thanks for all the support for all these years. Love you guys.

Some new items added to our “golf season” menu. A few vegetarian options have been added like the in house made veggie burgers. Even meat eaters like these ones. And it’s our own recipe! Be sure to try a salad too as we’ll be using produce from the amazing Vertical Roots.
