The Cave Singers - Easy Way (Live at Rock of the Woods)

Well, today would have been year 7. To celebrate what we all created we wanted to let everyone know that we have rewarded the 1st annual bursary from funds created at Rock of the Woods. On behalf of the Oswego Arts and Cultural Society, we are happy to announce that the recipient of the Student Artist Bursary Award is Savanah van Nieuwkerk! Savanah graduated from Frances Kelsey Secondary School last month. She is a talented artist who intends to pursue post-secondary education as an architect. We wish Savanah all the best in her future endeavours and hope that the Student Artist Bursary provides some assistance toward her bright future! Be proud of what you have created Rock of the Woods Community!

We are excited to spread the news that the Oswego Arts and Cultural Society is announcing its first Student Artist Bursary, supported with funds from Rock of the Woods!

The Oswego Arts and Cultural Society is asking students to submit proposals for creative projects that demonstrate passion, commitment, and, of course, creativity!

The Student Artist Bursary will provide one student with funds to further their education in arts and culture. The bursary also comes with the opportunity to showcase the creative work at a local business and at the Rock of the Woods festival in 2017!!

Walk the Woods Nature Stroll!

While at ROTW, take a moment to breathe in the fresh air and explore the secrets of the woods during a walk with a local ecologist. What insect takes 15 years to practice its song before it sings? What animal dances from a bungie cord at night? What river animal sees 12 times as many colours as you do?

Find out answers to these questions and more as we stroll along the Cowichan River and take in the history, magnificence and wackiness of the things we share this planet with.

2:30pm, Friday
Noon, 2:30pm and 4pm Saturday
11:30am and 1pm Sunday
