Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday night. Baba just finished a busy week of cooking for the wonderful folks at Enbridge Pipelines a wonderful wedding for Mr Mackenzie and Mrs Katie Clark. Now its time for sitting on the deck enjoying a little refreshment. It good for you cause it has milk hahaha. Enjoy the weekend folks.

Well Babas Food Truck is on the road again.

Friday we are in Elk Point for Boscombe 4-h show at the Ag Barn for 12 pm
Sat May 28 we are in Boyle for Barrel racing event at the Boyle Rodeo Grounds
Sunday May 29 we are in St Paul at the St Paul Rec Center for the MS Walk
Come out and enjoy the day and some good food.

This was our Cupcake display for the K-Cow Bull Sale on Sat March 26.
We had lemon with lemon marshmallow icing
Chocolate with peanut butter buttercream
Chocolate with Salted Carmel buttercream
Carrot cake with cream cheese icing
Banana bread brownie with burnt butter icing
Vanilla with chocolate marshmallow icing (that was Vern's favorite) my youngest grandson.
My sister Annette made 3 poppyseed chiffon cakes that were absolutely amazing.

We started off our catering season with a bull sale in Provost. Roads were crazy icy but slow and steady we went. Congratulations Bryon and Bernice Johnson on a great Bull Sale and Hwy 13 Heifer show case.

One of my favorite cooking shows is MKR. Love the show watched all 10 season. Today I was watching and came up with this for supper for my husband.
Scallops in burnt butter with cauliflower puree
Wild mushroom crusted pork tenderloin with Roasted Asparagus
Dessert is Raspberry Macroons. Let's say Curt is pretty happy right now

We are coming to the end of the season for the food truck.
Babas food truck will be in St Paul at Bumper to Bumper Sept 23 from 11-3.
Last date for this year.
Husqvarna is doing a demonstration on chain sharpening and maintenance of their Husqvarna chain saws.
Come down and check it out and get some great food. Hope to see you all there.

We have been pretty quite lately. This Covid-19 is not fun.
But the good news is that we will be opening the cap on Saturday at 10 am.

Hi folks, we will be at the grand opening of the BMX Skate park Saturday September 19 from 11- 5. Should be a great day Stems and Flappers will there as well. Cooking delicious wings. There will be a DJ to pump out the tunes. Going to be a great time. Good food and entertainment. Come on out and check it out. Don't forget to try our deep fried cabbage rolls with a garlic aloi definitely a great little snack.

Summer is coming to an end and Saturday Sept 19 will be our last day out for the year with the food truck. As our sumner season ends we are looking forward to hockey season starting again. We will be at the Cap arena again. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
