The last hoorah🥳. Epic gig last night feeding 75 guests for a 75th birthday celebration! With just Goldie and me in the kitchen, it’s a wonder how we managed to pull such a feat!!! At one point, as we often do, she and I had the craziest laughing fits because of the amount of work that we just did🤣 A big thank you to the red brick staff for their amazing hard work and positive energy! Chantelle and Georgina, you guys rock! …and to my dear , huge gratitude for being you…calm, funny, supportive and ready for anything 💖. This will be my catering event for a while! Taking a break to rest, relax and enjoy the summer🌺🌺🌺🌺

Yes it was so good! A beautiful catering gig yesterday afternoon celebrating a couple’s 50th wedding anniversary! Didn’t manage to take photos of all the food but you get the idea…loads of fun finger foods to feed 70+ guests😎. Yummmm💕.

Well, another year and another remarkable and memorable songwriting/yoga/cooking class retreat this past weekend! So much talent from this bunch of songwriters! I’m so proud of their accomplishment! Over a period of 3 days, these amazing folks wrote their song, some, if not all, inspired from the beautiful nature surrounding the retreat centre! Deep gratitude to all our participants and a special thanks to my dear friend and colleague, James Gordon, for his unending commitment and dedication, making these retreats successful over and over again 🙏🏼

Arvi Gosmo has been holding retreats with other facilitators in the past 8 years combining yoga, food and music. After acquiring much experience and skills from these events, she is now forging forward to hold space on her own in this one-day retreat of Yoga and Ayurveda (sister science of Yoga).

This retreat will focus on revitalizing and energizing the body, mind and spirit
through body movement, breath work, meditation and nutrition.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, gender and religious affiliation. This retreat is open to young adults andadults, 16 years of age and up.

…and just like that, in the blink of an eye, I’m back in Rwanda!! It was an easy and relaxing journey! I arrived yesterday feeling energized and now eager to see how things will unfold. I’m so happy to call this my home again for the next 6 months🙏🏼.

Deepest gratitude to the Animal Alliance of Canada and Plantelicious.World for the opportunity to cater this pilot event of pop up fine dining held . 16 local enthusiastic folks were welcomed and served a full course of delectable plant-based cuisine paired with wines to boot!
