During this afternoon’s walkaround magic at Jon’s Pie Baking Contest event, after Max the Magician magically produced a real lemon beneath one of his empty silver cups, Kevin took up the 2024 Lemon-Eating Challenge with courage and panache!
He did not disappoint!

Max the Magician had a great time entertaining guests with his interactive walkaround magic in the home of “Jon,” who hosted a Pie Baking Contest amongst his friends.
Max performed lots of fun illusions, close-up, that boggled minds and generated laughter… these were close-up miracles with cards, ropes, and rings, as well as with green dice, lemons and limes that appeared and disappeared beneath silver cups —faster than you could say “Houdini!” ….disappearing and appearing into thin air, like “magic!” 😲🪄✨

But I must admit, making Joshua’s chosen card appear magically and surprisingly from that freshly baked pie was an unforgettable miracle!

The Magical Duo of Max & Maxine had a wonderful time entertaining approximately 70 guests in honour of Rita & Andy, who celebrated their “500th Date Night” together (they went on their first date in 1982!) !❤️❤️✨
In addition, after dinner, guests were treated to enjoy “Jonathan’s Mysteries of the Mind Show” —a highly interactive show, demonstrating the amazing powers of the Mind! 😲✨

Jonathan’s Mysteries of the Mind Show was a hit amongst a group of approximately 25 young adults (ages 30-35), last Friday. This special event was held in celebration of Richard’s 34th birthday! (A birthday gift to himself and his friends!).
In addition to generating lots of laughter and amazement with his mind boggling thought- reading demonstrations,
there was a surprise and joyful twist-ending when Richard and his darling wife Melany stood back-to-back enabling Richard to pick up on her thoughts… intuiting then announcing that she was expecting their very first child!
Such a special and unforgettable evening!

Jonathan’s Mysteries of the Mind Show recently engaged, entertained, and amazed a family audience comprised of 25 adults representing 3 generations.
This special show took place inside the warm and elegant living-room of this family’s historic home, located in Hudson, Québec.
Wonderment, laughter and good-natured humour ensued throughout this highly interactive show.

With the help of enthused volunteers, Jonathan demonstrated his abilities to read thoughts from across the room, determine truth and lies, sense and define objects while securely blindfolded and much more!

To add to the spirit of Holiday Cheer, an enthused group from a school board located on the West Island, invited Jonathan to entertain 100 staff members with his “Mysteries of the Mind Show.”
The group was comprised of: psychologists, social workers, guidance counsellors, inclusion and special needs consultants, as well as spiritual animators and mindfulness and indigenous human rights specialists, and more.

Jonathan demonstrated to this delightful and inquisitive group, how the powers of intuition and the powers of the mind are strong —with laughter and amazement generated throughout this special performance. :)✨

There was laughter, fun and “Magic in the air,” this evening, as Max the Magician entertained VIP clients inside the festive Halloween-themed showroom of McClaren Automotive.
Two brand new McLaren cars (limited edition of 10 in the world!) were also unveiled this evening. Following the excitement of this automotive unveiling, with drinks and sumptuous food in hand to enjoy, these same VIP guests were then treated to the walkaround magic of Max.
Amazed and delighted, they eagerly participated in Max’s close-up illusions with: cards, rings, rope and much more.
Bravo to Adrienne and her team, who planned and launched this evening’s joyful and memorable event! 👏🏻✨

For a special treat, visit their lovely store located at 426 Beaubien est, in Rosement, where local artists are able to display and sell their beautiful works of art, including paintings, pottery, and clothing, as well as customized hand-painted skateboards, and more.

It was a busy but fun day, yesterday.
In the morning I was in Europe (more specifically, I was “in” France and Germany) entertaining adults, in French, from 10 different households with my close-up sleight-of-hand magic, in celebration of a 50th birthday!
Granted, I was actually “in” Montreal, performing my Magic-comedy show over the Zoom platform to guests located in Europe, who were participating in my Virtual show experience, performed through cyberspace. But it felt as though I was right there with them “in” Europe! 🙂
In the afternoon, I had fun entertaining at a private backyard pool-party, in Candiac! ✨

Last Wednesday evening on August 3rd, the Magical Duo of Max & Maxine had the pleasure of entertaining approximately 100 international AIST conference guests at the Sheraton Hotel in Montreal. Guests from Japan, Sweden and Germany, as well as from Canada and the USA, were delighted and amazed by Max & Maxine’s fun-filled and interactive Walkaround magic with; cards, rope, rings and much more.
Kudos to Shannon Kiley, who flew in from Pittsburg, for expertly organizing this smooth-running event on behalf of the Association of Steel and Technology (AIST)!

Today, in my “Max the Magician” persona, I had the pleasure of entertaining two lovely newlyweds, Marc & April, inside the elegant and airy halls of the historic Théâtre St-James, situated in the Old Montreal section of our beloved city.
I first performed sleight-of-hand close-up magic, table-to-table, for the adults, then presented a special show for the children in an agacent room.
This exciting and memorable wedding day was expertly orchestrated by Caryn Lim of
A Timeless Celebration —and Max & Maxine Entertainment was honored to lighten-up the room with our “touch of magic” and good-natured fun. 🙂 👍✨
