heatre Festival who provide accommodation, the performance venue and tourist experiences. The play, in development, will be a world premiere. It is based on the critical environmental problem of plastic pollution in landfills and the 5 Gyres, specifically the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It is also the human story of the catadores (garbage pickers) who recycle plastic waste but depend on it for their living. Oh...and did we mention that it is a comedy (dark), with talking garbage, plus a treasure seeker looking for the lost reels of a Garbo film? We are looking for actors, technicians, costumers, film makers (documentary and set-video), musicians. The play can be adapted to the specializations of the group. You can also attend as an audience-fringe-goes.
