We’re excited to sample delicious donuts prepared with the traditional recipes from Cameroon and Gabon. In Gabon, beans are stewed with meat (sausages, beef) and eaten at any time of day with donuts or rice as a side dish. Angèle the founder of Dûnu Donuts, was raised in Gabon and recalls memories of enjoying BHB (Beignet-Haricot- Bouillie, a corn porridge) a street food staple often eaten for breakfast in the morning.

Snack O’ Shack is a family-owned business, bringing the flavours of South East Asia to Ottawa! The team shares a strong passion for culinary innovation and strives to include as many ingredients from local farms in their dishes. Their menu is influenced by Malaysian cuisine and features hot vegan, vegetarian and meat options.
