We are a registered non-profit society, with roots back to 1913, when district farmers held the first Coombs Fall Fair to showcase local food crops and livestock. Although the name has changed over the years, the mandate of our organization has remained the same, and our presence in the community is growing. The Purpose of our Association is to:
a) to foster community spirit;
b) to promote culti

vation of the soil and general development of agricultural resources;
c) to facilitate, directly or through other associations, the education and personal development of people of all ages in agricultural and farming activities;
d) to conduct an agricultural fair and exhibition.

Thrilled to welcome back some amazing and talented vendors joining us this weekend. Different vendors each day!

I'm so please to post that Seriously West Coast Art will be at Coombs Fair & Fairgrounds again this year, but on Saturday only. Please come check out all the wonderfully, talented vendors at this market. Both days, the market runs from 11:00-5:00. This one is definelty worth the extra drive. Follow the signage to Ford Rd, Coombs.

We are part of such a special community.

Huge shoutout to Coombs, Hilliers, Whiskey Creek and Virginia Estates. 40 crates of food and $2400.00 cash was collected by your Fire Department on the weekend for donation to the Salvation Army food bank. It really shows what a wonderful caring community we live in.
A special thank you from the fire fighters for all your kind words of appreciation, it means a lot to the crew.

It’s almost time for our annual food drive! Keep an eye out for our trucks and Firefighters in your neighborhood. We will be in Whiskey Creek from 9-4 on Saturday November 16th and Virginia Estates from 9-4 on Sunday November 17th. All proceeds will be going to the Salvation Army and we will be collecting both food and cash donations. If you are in the area with donations you can also drop them off at our fire hall at 3241 Alberni Hwy from 9-4 both days.

What an incredible day had on the Coombs Fairgrounds for the first of our Coombs Fair kids Club series. Not many photos because we were far too busy creating. Participants made buttercream icing and decorated (and ate) to their hearts content. We made spider webs, spiders and a pumpkin patch.

There’s still a few spaces in our next workshop on November 12. We will be weaving, needle felting and learning to crochet.

While we are closed to the public, the fair starts for many of us today. 400 birds to be judged today and all of your carefully crafted, baked, or grown entries will also be judged today.
