1. Availability - first things first, you’ll want to know if the venue is available the date of your event
2. Location - is it easily accessible for your guests?
3. Amenities - do you need to source out catering? what other amenities do they provide?
4. Capacity & layout - does the venue work for the amount of people you’re inviting?
5. Budget - does the cost fit your event’s budget? how much is the down deposit? are there any additional costs you should know about?
6. Cancellation/rescheduling policies - in the unfortunate event of needing to cancel or postpone, make sure you’re clear on who is responsible for what costs
7. Covid protocols - it’s extra important these days to look into a venue’s covid policies and capacity limits
