A short while back I was shooting an intimate wedding on the pier in Sylvan Lake.
While finishing the last of the photos with the bride & groom; one of the groomsmen came running to me to let me know there was a couple getting engaged 100 ft away.
We quickly ran to the couples area and watched as the proposal took place. I of course took advantage of the situation and took as many photos as possible without letting their moment be interrupted.
She said YES! And we all cheered with excitement for them.
I then went to the couple and showed them a few of the photos I captured and we quickly exchanged information. They were Thrilled that we were all cheering for them (they travelled from Calgary alone). They were equally thrilled that I was able to capture this beautiful moment for them. I’m a huge believer that’s everything happens for a reason and when you’re in the right place at right time you take advantage of that time when appropriate.

The bride and groom of the wedding I was currently shooting was so gracious to allow me the few minutes to capture this moment for this young couple 🙏🏻
