Erika & Chris got married yesterday and we were there to capture it in both photo & "cinema"! A day filled with family, laughter, tears, fur babies and so much love. And, despite the gloomy forecast, we managed to dodge the rain..hooray! Congratulations! So much more to come 😉

Hard to believe this was ten years ago. This wedding was a turning point for us. Meeting Joel & Danielle inspired us to shoot differently...to spend more time with the couple, learn who they are, and work towards telling the story of who they are at that moment in time.

Over the years we stayed in contact and will never forget the thoughtfulness they have shown us. I still remember Joel (who originally was on the fence about getting a video) text me a photo of his daughter standing in front of the tv watching their wedding video. It's moments like these that inspires us to do more.

Tragically, Joel passed away last fall leaving all of us with a great sense of loss. Life can change in an instant. Hug those you love and tell them how you feel. To the family, thanks again for having us their to capture these beautiful moments.

A day of rain didn't spoil the day for Vivian and Brandon. Brandon maintained that smile the entire day....mainly because he was about to marry the love of his life and knowing their family is about to grow very soon!
We did their e-session almost 2 years ago ahead, of the wedding they scheduled for this September. We can't wait to share more of the laughs, the tears and the energy on the dance floor. For now, here's a sneak peek.
