Bio

Loxxe is a Toronto-based DJ who brings bold and dynamic sets to any party she plays. She has performed at some of the biggest events and festivals across the city, such as Harvest Festival, Everybody, Promise Cherry Beach and the Sunday Afternoon Social. Loxxe has shared decks with artists such as Kevin Saunderson, Dusky, Hiroko Yamamura, Honey Soundsystem and Cooper Saver, as well as the best Toronto techno talent.

A former bass guitarist and classical pianist, Loxxe took up DJing after living in Osaka, Japan, inspired by the city’s energy and intensity. Her sound is versatile, teetering effortlessly between hard, driving techno and warm, dreamy deep house. She also frequently draws inspiration from 8-bit retro gaming culture in her selections and productions. Currently, she hosts a monthly online radio show on n10.as called Extra Life featuring mainly downtempo and ambient, nostalgic music.
