Last night we had the most wonderful surprise 40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration for my parents-in-law 🥰organized by their sons and daughters-in-law.

We used their wedding photo as an inspiration to recreate what we imagined their wedding night looked like: creams, whites and pinks with a splash of baby breath. I recreated the bride’s bouquet and groom’s boutonnière and we used the bride’s mother’s china for a vintage look.

We originally planned for it to be an outdoor event, hence the choice of chairs, but the weather interfered. Nonetheless, I think they added a certain degree of vintage charm to the overall look indoors.

Happy Mother’s Day! Hope you are having a great day!

All the deliveries are done and I can now enjoy the rest of the weekend with my little guy 👦🏻

We are overwhelmed with happiness from the number of orders we have received for Mother’s Day so far🥰 Thank you so much for trusting us in cherishing your loved ones!

When my client messaged me saying that he wanted to make a “little surprise” for his girlfriend, I didn’t realize first that he meant 101 roses 🌹 can’t say I wasn’t happy to make this beauty for one lucky lady 😍

P.S. I’m not angry in the photo, it’s just super heavy and I’m using all my energy to hold it 😂

Mother’s Day weather forecast isn’t looking great 🌧 But the forecast in our studio promises Peony and Garden Roses clouds, with Rainbow of Ranunculus coming through 🌈 starting on May 6.

If you can’t have an outdoor socially-distanced Brunch, at least you can send a piece of sunshine to someone you love very much!

This morning I made this special bouquet. The client had a very specific vision for the bouquet and I was happy to bring it to life🌹

“What made this order special?”- you might ask. It is that the client ordered flowers from Russia for her sister living in Toronto. She wanted the bouquet to be the way it would look like if she picked and handed it herself.

As someone who lives away from her family, I know this feeling very well. Though, it wasn’t easy to make this work logistically, I’m so happy we did! It truly makes my heart melt knowing that what I do helps you feel closer to your loved ones no matter where you’re 🌏

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

April is a month when wherever you look, everyone talks about environment and eco-consciousness. However, we can’t just spend a month talking about the importance of taking care of the environment and then go on with our daily practices full of single-use plastic, disposable masks and toxic products.

At FLWR Point, we constantly work on improving our practices to make sure we create as little harmful waste as possible all year round.

Here are a few things that we do every day:

❌ No flower foam. We don’t use floral foam in our arrangements as it is known to be carcinogenic. When dry it breaks down to dust which gets in florist’s lungs causing serious health problems to those working with it a lot. In addition to that, it doesn't fully dissolve in water or degrade in landfill or soil, creating harmful waste for the environment.

❌ No plastic wrapping. All our bouquets are wrapped in Kraft paper and aqua packed Compostable Eco Flower Wraps and bags.

✅ When sourcing flowers we choose local flowers over imported whenever possible.

INSTAGRAM IS NOT = REALITY

Today I spent a few hours cleaning up my studio from the busy week, and preparing it for the next one. Clean space and tools ensures that the flowers you receive or gift, stay fresh and pretty much longer.

While doing the inventory, I put aside quite a bit of flowers that have a few days of life left and will not be sold to the customers. It always makes me very sad when I have to discard flowers knowing no one else can admire their beauty😔

So, my creative nature took over and I made this stunning arrangement with those flowers💐 Even though they can’t make it to your home, they can brighten up your day here! It kind of gives me vibe. Can you believe that this beauty only has a couple hours/days left?

As for the mechanics, this arrangement is and doesn’t have any chicken wire. Each flower supports another, and together they come to make such beauty 😍 Imagine, what people could do if everyone supported each other, even if they only had a few days left?

Anyway, the moral is: pretty picture on Instagram doesn’t always mean this is the reality. And maybe someone needs this reminder today
