The Hallcrown is the premiere event venue of the Armenian Community Centre (ACC) of Toronto.

Stunning renovations to the banquet hall and surrounding facilities were recently completed to provide a spectacular venue to the surrounding community. Our in-house catering team combines exquisite cuisine and professional service to provide an exceptional dining experience. In addition to a magnificent banquet hall, the Hallcrown Event Venue offers a vast array of amenities including conference,

meeting and seminar rooms as well as a café and restaurant. Since 1979, the ACC has been an active member of the North York community and continues to serve its members with cultural, spiritual and educational programs.

Seeking an experienced event coordinator to efficiently organize and execute revenue generating events for in-house and external clients.

Responsibilities include:
• Correspond with potential clients and highlight the Hallcrown Event Venue as a premier banquet facility
• Work with in-house and external clients and stakeholders to understand the requirements for each event
• Coordinate and budget planning of revenue generating events
• Onsite supervision of events
• Maintain an ongoing social media presence
• Assist in recruiting and supervising event catering staff
• Coordinate and negotiate with vendors, serving staff and catering companies
• Ensure all administrative documents are prepared
• Establish standardized event procedures, conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications
• Experience in planning and executing events of varying sizes
• Ability to manage external vendor resources and relationships
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and duties
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
