Along with our basic package, we are now offering your choice of custom decor at a discounted price! We have expanded our inventory and are now able to offer you one of three options:

🌿Greenery: touches of greenery added throughout for a pop of organic colour, including greenery wall

✨Elegant: unique styling of backdrop sheers, with sequin table runners and our gold ring backdrop

🪵Rustic: burlap runners, burlap curtains, with jute bottles and rum barrels, plus pallet photo backdrop

▪️Want a mix of two or more? We also offer the choice to mix any of our options to create your own unique style!

▪️With Outport Events, we want to ensure each client has the ability to create the event of their dreams by picking and choosing what style fits you best.

🕢 6:30-9:00pm
📍 J.M. Olds Collegiate (gymnasium)
◽️ Grades 4-6
◾️$15 per child

Please join us for our first GAME NIGHT!

▫️On the court: group games and sports
▫️On the stage: Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario Kart 8 viewed on our big screen

These activities will be split into stations to ensure all children have their chance to play!

Water and snacks will be provided for no additional cost 🤗

As always, we are open to any and all suggestions to make these events run smoothly.

We look forward to seeing your kiddos come out for some fun and games🤾‍♀️🎉

🍿🎃 MOVIE NIGHT 🎃🍿

Happening tomorrow, Monday October 23rd!

We are trying out something new! Outport Events will be offering kid-friendly functions starting with our first event: Halloween Movie Night.

▪️Location: J.M. Olds Collegiate (gym entrance)
▪️Time: 6:00-8:30pm
▪️Kindergarten-Grade 3: $10 per child (must be accompanied by an adult, can be multiple children per adult)
▪️Grades 4-6: $15 per child

Here is our plan⬇️
▪️6:00-7:30pm (all ages): Movie time! We will have a variety of snacks and drinks for each child to choose from (included in cost). We also encourage sending along a pillow and blanket.
▪️7:30-8:30pm (grades 4-6): Group games and Costume Contest

We are excited to be offering these types of events. As this will be our first, we are open to any suggestions you may have for improvement.

For those interested, please comment below so we have a rough idea on how many to expect :)

Here's a video of our newest venue option here in Twillingate, The Twillingate Performing Arts Centre (The Gate), ringing the old church bells for a wedding ceremony, captured from all angles. For those interested in the incredible history it has here in Twillingate, here's a brief article for you:

- The Twillingate Performing Arts Centre was built in 1868 as a replacement for a previous structure which was unfortunately destroyed by a fire. The building was designated as a Municipal Heritage Site in 2006. This large wooden building is vernacular in design and has large galleries that wrap around the interior of the church which allowed it to accommodate large groups of people. Nearly rising to the choir/organ gallery behind and above it, the height of the pulpit is a remarkable feature. This beautiful ornate pulpit and communion rail were hand carved. Its design was built for incredible acoustics throughout the building. When the church was built in 1868, it had two low spires carved in the shape of a man’s hand with the index finger pointing to the skies. In the early 1950's a belfry was erected and the low spires were replaced with a new hand erected on the belfry. Since that time, the bell has rung out for church services, celebrations of weddings, when boats and men were leaving for the seal hunt, celebrations and sadness of war times, and memories. It is still used today for special occasions.

- The NorthEast Church Heritage Museum is the home of a historic Bevington Pipe Organ. It was built by the Bevington firm in London and installed in the South Side Church in 1903 for $750.00. This particular organ is especially unique as the Bevington Company was burned during a war and no Bevington pipe organs have been produced since this one. The organ bellows were manually pumped before the installation of an electric blower. The pipe organ was replaced by a Hammond Organ in 1972 and lay silent until 2006 when it was restored by Lester Goulding. The restoration was featured on CBC’s “Land and Sea”.

- The building, open during the summer months, is popular for weddings and features various performances, for up to 300 seated on the upper and lower floor.

It can't get any more genuine and vintage than this! The old church bell rang to celebrate the newlywed couple, and it didn't disappoint. It is the sound of history, congregation, and new beginnings.

Outport Events is now able to offer the historic and beautiful Masonic Lodge here in Twillingate, NL as a venue option for any special event.

Built in 1906, the masonic lodge has a deep and rich history here in our scenic community. Opening the front doors, and looking out the windows, you will find yourself looking into the heart of "downtown" Twillingate, right next to the bay, Split Rock Brewery, local grocery and souvenir shops, several B&B options, and possibilities for beautiful evening strolls on the shore.

The masonic lodge is the perfect option for small to medium-sized events, up to 80 people such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special event. The Lodge now has a newly updated, modernized kitchen and bar, along with all-new dinnerware and cutlery. This lodge offers a great natural vintage vibe, with the option of a total white pipe and drape perimeter to suit your custom style needs, depending on the event.
