So I happen to have a little update for folks. On December 31, 2023 I was accepted to be a volunteer for Three Little Pitties rescue. My first day to volunteer was January 13, 2024 in Bellingham Washington. Due to the snow storm dates changed and I ended up going last night to meet a bus full of rescue dogs from Texas. One of the other tasks I was required to do was to pick up a dog that had been adopted and was now being surrendered and was to go back on the bus to Texas. I asked the Coordinator if the dog had to go back to Texas or if I could foster the dog. Three Little Pitties decided that fostering here would be much better than sending the dog back on a stressful bus ride. So now I am a foster of this little guy named Joey. He was found by a man doing landscaping. Because the man works in Houston Texas he always carries dog food as there are always stray dogs around. He asked his wife what he should do and Bianca said bring the dog home. You can tell Joe he has had a very traumatic life he is covered in so many scars.This is how Joey looked on the day they rescued him to how he is now with me. We are only on day two so we will see how all things go so far Joey is such a sweet gentle soul and I am so blessed to have him in my life at this moment in time.
