Canada Day run weather update:

We will continue to monitor the thunderstorm this morning.  We plan for an on-time start. Should there be the presence of lightning at the start times the race will not go ahead and will delay 15 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes. If you are near the race site at that time, the most immediate shelter is located under the provencher bridge on the pathway, Alternatively, the forks buildings.

We will provide an update again, one hour before the start time .

Canada Day Run Race package pickups are happening now at Running Room, 1615 Regent Ave W until 5pm.

If you can’t make it today, pickups move to Running Room 1875 Grant ave tomorrow, Sunday June 30, 2pm-5pm.

We are no longer accepting new registrations. This is a sold out event.

Great group of dedicated volunteers came out again this year to help keep runners on track and hydrated at the WPS Half marathon.

Thank you so much. Without volunteers events just wouldn't happen, you all crushed it today!

Attention all runners! Mark your calendars for June 2 and join us at the CMV Canada Half Marathon, a sanctioned event by the Manitoba Runners' Association. Runners will be timed as they tackle the course, gearing up for the Manitoba Marathon while supporting the Canadian CMV Foundation.
