Poslání mise:
Protest bývalých svědků Jehovových není protest proti svědkům Jehovovým jako jednotlivcům. Podporujeme právo každého vybrat si své náboženství a praktikovat svou víru. Taktéž podporujeme osobní právo vychovávat své děti ve své víře, dokud tato víra neporušuje práva dětí jak je nastíněno a chráněno v Úmluvě o právech dítěte OSN.
Náš protest je proti porušování lidských práv páchaného Společností Strážná věž (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society), právní organizací za systémem vyznání.
Strážná věž používá zastrašování a vydírání k odepření svým členům práva a svobody odejít z toho náboženství, aniž by ztratili svou rodinu (jsou-li členy i členové rodiny). Toto je porušení Článku 9 v Evropské Úmluvě o ochraně lidských práv a základních svobod:
“Každý má právo na svobodu myšlení, svědomí a náboženského vyznání; toto právo zahrnuje svobodu změnit své náboženské vyznání nebo přesvědčení…”
Strážná věž tvrdí, že mají právo trestat lidi, kteří to náboženství opustí, prostřednictvím stranění se (angl. shunning). Věříme, že to je porušení lidských práv a protestujeme na podporu všech těch svědků Jehovových, kteří nemohou protestovat sami ze strachu ztráty své rodiny.
Pražský sjezd bude mít velké množství svědků Jehovových z Ruska. Vítáme tyto bratry a sestry do České republiky. Podporujeme jejich právo svobody náboženství a žádáme ruské autority, aby chránily jejich právo věřit a svobodu uctívání.
Uznáváme, že zde jsou pádné důvody popsat některé praktiky Strážné věže jako extremistické a občas nebezpečné. Strážná věž je tiskařská společnost a nikoli člověk. Tiskařská společnost tudíž nemá lidská práva, která by byla porušována.
Nicméně, zastáváme se 100% lidských práv všech jednotlivých ruských občanů, včetně svědků Jehovových, které mnoho z nás stále považujeme za své bratry a sestry. Smutné je, že se objevily zprávy o porušování lidských práv svědků Jehovových v Rusku.
Požadujeme, aby ruské autority respektovaly lidská práva všech ruských občanů.
Mnoho z protestujících vyrůstali v náboženství svědků Jehovových. Mnoho bude sdílet osobní výpovědi jak Strážná věž porušuje Úmluvu o právech dítěte OSN různými způsoby.
Požadujeme, aby se Česká republika ujistila, že žádná organizace fungující uvnitř svých hranic neporušuje lidská práva a zvláště Úmluvu o právech dítěte OSN.
Požadujeme, aby jakékoli náboženství, které porušuje vyřčená práva, mělo okamžitě ztratit osvobození od daní, status příjemce odpočitatelného daru a status charity.

Mission Statement:
The ex-Jehovah’s Witness protest is not a protest against Jehovah’s Witnesses as individuals. We support everyone’s right to choose their religion and practice their beliefs. We also support a person’s right to raise their children in their faith, as long as that faith doesn’t violate the children's rights as outlined and protected in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Our protest is against the human rights violations committed by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the legal organization behind the belief system.
Watchtower uses intimidation and extortion to deny their members the right and freedom to leave the religion, without losing their family. This is a violation of Article 9 in the European Convention of Human Rights:
“Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or beliefs and freedom…”
Watchtower claims they have the right to punish people that leave the religion by means of shunning. We believe that this is a violation of human rights, and we protest in support of all those Jehovah’s Witnesses who cannot protest themselves due to fear of losing their family.
The Prague convention will have a large number of Jehovah’s Witnesses from Russia. We welcome these brothers and sisters to the Czech Republic. We support their right to freedom of religion and ask the Russian authorities to protect their right to belief and freedom of worship.
We do recognize that there are valid reasons to describe some of Watchtower’s practices as extremist and sometimes dangerous. Watchtower is a printing company and not a human. A printing company has, therefore, no human rights to be violated.
However, we stand 100% for the human rights of all individual Russian citizens, including the Jehovah’s Witnesses who many of us still consider our brothers and sisters. Sadly, there have been reports of human rights violations against Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia.
We demand that the Russian authorities respect the human rights of all Russian citizens.
Many of the protesters grew up within the Jehovah’s Witness religion. Many will share personal testimonies of how the Watchtower violates the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in various ways.
We demand that the Czech Republic ensures that no organization working within their borders violates human rights and especially the UN Convention on the Rights of a Child.
We demand that any religion that violates said rights should immediately lose tax exemption deductible gift recipient status, and charitable status.
