Artist Feature - Giinja Flame
We’re incredibly honoured to have worked with Giinja Flame as the lead singer on our latest EP from Alton Miller Reflections Within, bringing her incredibly powerful vocals to the lead tracks ‘Vibe Check’ and ‘No Fomo’.
Giinja is a renowned singer who was featured on Hypnosis’ album “The Best of Me” and VX’s hip-hop album as well as working on collaborations with Inno Tempo.
As a DJ Giinja has performed at numerous clubs, her first residency was at SABMiller (Highveld District). As a versatile DJ, Giinja plays a wide range of music including tech/electro-house, fidget, kwaito, and hip-hop, always providing the right groove for each venue. She has extensive experience in the South African market.
Currently, Giinja is working on her clothing label, GIINIUS-WEAR. Giinja is also producing her own music, with a house single “Do it just for me” featuring DJ Hypnosis and Nickson, and her debut album featuring Massive on the track “Giving you all.” She is a radio presenter at a local community station and mentors Lil Diezo, the second runner-up on SA Got Talent 2013. She is working on a house music album titled “Forgive Music” and a hip-hop project called “Mazothi Mixtape” featuring only female rappers.
