Involved in the underbelly of American electronic music for many years, Beau Wanzer cut his teeth in Chicago working at the now defunct Weekend Records and Soap, where he merge his fascination for the horror and the obscure with the synthesis of distorted and bizarre sounds that will land him, few years later, on the most prestigious labels worldwide.

From L.I.E.S records to Silent Servant (🌹), Regis and Ruskin's Jealous God, passing through collaborations as Mutant Beat Dance with Traxx and Steve Summers or the prolific De-Bons-En-Pierre alongside Maoupa Mazzocchetti, Beau Wanzer has created a completely unique collection of music that moving from the most putrid EBM, Industrial and Leftfield techno goes down the hole of tape and noise culture.
A rabid record digger and seriously talented producer we are very excited to bring in town.

We met Elena in a foggy Berlin basement the past winter, as she was playing an all-night back2back along An-I.
The passion and research for unconventional, industrial obscurities, mixed with her perfectly crafted skills behind the decks left has with no doubts wether she was the perfect match for our never ending 4/4 spin offs at the infamous 11 of Z.....strasse, Neukölln.
From 5 till 8 on Sunday morning, Belarus wizard Elena Sizova bring from the very first time at Autonoma Industriale her subtile and contorted blend of Electro, Acid and Techno.

Engineering lecturer at the National Technical University of Minsk during the day, half of Der Zyklus along Heinrich Mueller, her mixes are a sonic exploration that weaves together "the old with the new, the rare with the obscure". Mouth Wound is the solo project of Danish multi-instrumentalist Trine Paaschburg.
Combining the use and manipulation of analogue noise oscillators, acoustic drone, repetitive heavy elements and voice with recordings based on improvised live material, her music deals with themes such as physical/existential malaise and the search for tranquil, an expression that has been described as alluringly meditative yet masochistic when experienced live.

“Nothing Will Belong To Us”, her debut Album licensed last year by Brucia Records, is a visceral release so bodily and ethereal at the same time, balancing moments of deep melancholy with abrupt and brutal climaxes in which the peace is mauled by a cacophony of noise and guttural screams. It’s an evocative, discomforting experience that resonates with the deep, silent corners of our brains.

Against oppression.
For the self-determination of peoples.

One month has passed since our last event.
The 7th of October we hosted what has probably been our best party so far.
We never said thanks to the great artists involved, to the amazing crowd, to all our collaborators and friends, always present to support, party and make A/I possible.

But the reason behind our silence is more relevant than social media greetings and publications.

The morning after the party, the joy instantly mutated into sadness and pushed us back to the horrendous reality of what has been happening in Palestine since 1948. 
As we were partying frustration out in the darkness of the basement, the military forces of Hamas attacked Israel causing 1300 deaths and taking prisoners, in the approximative number of 220.

In the following 30 days at least 10.000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza and more than 1500 has been executed inside the Israel borders, in addition to the thousands that have been murdered, displaced, imprisoned and abused since the occupation began.
Hundreds of bombs are dropped daily on Gaza while a progressive ethnic cleansing, a genocide is taking place among the silence of the international community.

As we can't deny the cruelty of Hamas, we won’t turn our sight to 75 years of occupation.
We won’t un-see the apartheid system Israel put in place with the collaboration of the international community.
We will not forget nor be accomplice of any past, present or future form of colonialism.
We will always stand against the oppressor.
We will always support those who fight for their freedom.
