Barcelona has been chosen to be the place for premiering the annual Festival Series of European post-industrial heritage with a futuristic concept. Poblenou Tecnologies uses the language of new music technology systems to facilitate nowadays communication and intercultural exchange between post-ind
ustrial European urban areas. Premiering in the post-industrial neighbourhood of Poblenou, Barcelona 2012, the festival series will promote post-industrial territory with international artists on a local level featuring workshops and performances of new music and visual arts. The festival locations for the following years are set: Barcelona 2012 - Bilbao 2013 - Berlin 2014 - Glasgow 2015 - Manchester 2016.
